It’s Doc B’s office holiday party time! I may be partial, but I’m pretty sure @wfortho staff wins for most charming. Special shoutout to @ssprice68 who outdid herself in putting together this wonderful night.

Biggest thanks to healthcare workers who are the (literal) backbone of America. Grateful for all you do 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round!

We celebrated Thanksgiving early in honor of my Abuelitos’ 73rd wedding anniversary. It was the first time everyone heard the details of how they met as 19 year olds at a dance hall in 1951 Aibonito, Puerto Rico. What a story, what a history, what memories…

These are the things that I’m thankful for.

🙏Strong family women.
🙏My Godmom who loves me like her daughter.
🙏A Fam Feast bridging the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
🙏73 years of “ups and downs, but love” as my Abuelita says.
🙏Grandparents at 92yo still showing us the way.
🙏FaceTime w/my baby brother.
🙏An amazing Mommacita who makes all the magic happen.
🙏Sisters who bake together.
🙏And laugh together.
🙏And love Doc B like a son.
🙏My Dad who loves him like one, too.
🙏Coquito!
🙏Abuelita who suggests “more strength/rum” added to mix.
🙏A welcome mat that reminds us that blue or red should not, cannot, and will not divide us.

Count your blessings. List your gratitudes. Meditate on the good Karma in your life. Do it all, friends, and have a happy Thanksgiving!
