Sarah McCoy at Chicago's Cleaners.

Sometimes I walk down the block just to visit my neighborhood dry cleaning lady, Mrs. Suh, and ask what delights are in her garden, the sliver of sidewalk dirt down busy Diversey Avenue. Today, I found green tomatoes, sweet peas, and corn stalks not-quite high as an elephant's eye yet. This is probably where I feel most peaceful in Chicago. A pretty good indicator that North Carolina is the right move. I'll miss my Mrs. Suh but will think of her every time I see a well-loved garden patch in an unexpected place. ๐ŸŒฝ๐Ÿฅ’๐ŸŒถ๐Ÿฅ—
