Kicking off the holiday week with a few of my favorite things and people!

❤️The Holiday Stroll at @reynoldavillage. Met Ginger T (aka @trey.mazza) between his @uncsa shows at my favorite tavern @thebookhousews and introduced him to the women family owners— @taracool2 and her mom working the coffee bar like a boss!
Bonus fun: meeting new readers strolling in for a hot cuppa, live music, and cozy seats. We stayed tucked into the book magic even after Santa went home.

💚 The Holiday Book Fair with my beloved @bookmarksnc friends at @walnutandbroad. Such a treat! If you missed the fair, come out for #SmallBusinessSaturday (11/25). These book elves will be waiting for you.
Bonus fun: meeting local watercolor artist @e.hollanddesigns, window shopping at @lavenuebtq, @easytalkws sips, and an @eastoftexaswsnc Friendsgiving.

It takes a village and these local venues have my gratitude for bringing the spirit early. Hope to run into many more of you around town. Would love to wish you a happy holidays in person!

A spark of joy this weekend. So uplifting to unite A spark of joy this weekend. So uplifting to unite with North Carolinans at @page158books #LitFest. 🎉 Standing room only, some readers gracious made book picnics on the floor. All to raise funds for @nkotbliteracyproject. Thank you to bookstore owners Sue and Dave and staff (waving at you @barbara.wojcik.306) for inviting me! I loved being under one roof with so many dear friends, getting to meet their family members, and introducing Doc B. It felt like the kind of fall community potlucks I grew up going to. Lots of laughter, hugs, and new memories shared.
